Fiorentini+Baker Boots

It's been a busy week for me but such a great one! First of all, it was my birthday and the best gift of all was a visit from my sister. She lives in Montreal but came to Vancouver for a few days to celebrate with me and we did just that. We started with a short drive down to Seattle, where we stayed overnight, ate and drank our faces off, and followed that with a couple of more relaxing days in Vancouver. There was a bit of shopping, hiking and one fabulous lobster dinner with a few friends. Birthdays are the best, especially when they are stretched over an entire week! I plan on telling you about a Seattle trip, if only because there are a few restaurants that you simply cannot skip next time you happen to be in that area, but first, I need to organize the hundreds of photos that we have taken in order to do that. In the meantime, I must share with you my souvenir from Barney's in Seattle: a pair of Fiorentini+Baker Ella boots in taupe:

I love them! You can't see me right now but I am applauding with joy. I do that a lot.
It also comes in black but I love how feminine and versatile the taupe colour is.

I had never heard of Fiorentini+ Baker before so when I got home I did a little online research and found that they're kind of everywhere. At Violet Boutique, at Gravity Pope, on Jessica Alba, Marie-Kate Olsen and Tom Cruise's feet...and now on mine! I'm not much of a celebrity gossip addict anymore but the Fiorentini+ Baker website has more than fifty photos of stars wearing their shoes if you want to check it out. I haven't seen the Ella model on any of them yet. I still think I chose right though. I have been wearing them around the house for days now but it's pouring rain outside right now and I have yet to take them out for a real ride. Soon, little boots, soon....

  1. Are you totally loving your new boots? I have a bad Fiorentini + Baker habit! I started with a pair of lace-up ankle boots called Elios, which I bought from Ped Shoes, where one of your pics comes from, and now I have three more boots and a pair of sandals! They are just perfect! Hard on the bank account, but worth the expense, I think.

  2. I absolutely love my boots and I am glad that I am not the only one. They are a little hard on the bank account but, from what I can tell, the quality is well worth the splurge and I think that I will have these boots for a long time. I imagine that I will also become very addicted to F +B...how are their sandals? Do you like them just as much?
