Gift Wrapping Ideas

I'm sorry, but I simply cannot resist a peek at Martha Stewart's website around this time of year. I have already revealed a soft spot for anything crafty, particularly when it comes to dressing up a Thanksgiving table, but another weakness of mine is in the gift-wrapping department. I know it isn't entirely relevant to home decorating but it is close enough to me! How much money have I spent on ridiculously expensive bows and ribbons, only to watch them being torn to pieces in seconds. I do this gladly though, and the joy of staring at the tree and its surrounding treasures for weeks before the big day is worth every penny. The best part comes when the package is actually handed over to its future owner and, in my family, the wrapping is much appreciated and admired, often more so than the gift itself. The apple doesn't fall far from the Christmas tree indeed. Every year I promise my man not to sing along any carols or pick out any new ornament or holiday decorating item before december 1st, but I don't remember reading anything about no blogging before then in his contract...so here it is, a montage of Martha's best ideas that might make your little package feel somewhat inadequate this year., unless you give in to the Christmas spirit and join the fun.
