Introducing Sticky Spoon Jams!

Wow. If Summer disappeared quickly, it seems like September just flew by. Can you believe that it is mid-October now? Hello. Do you remember me?

This is what you get for being so busy, isn't it? As it turns out, I don't like being that busy. Working 15 hour days just isn't me, it doesn't align with the kind of life I want, one that allows me to stop, take a moment, be inspired and create. It doesn't even matter what I create, whether it is writing something, taking photographs, baking and making jam or decorating my house. As long as I am making something happen and following my passions, it makes sense. So I put an end to those 15 hour work days. I am once again broke, but happy.

On the bright side, these past two months have made a busy bee out of me and I got a lot done. Since our last conversation, my friend and I have started a business. Oh yeah. I am now one half of Sticky Spoon. We make jam. Gooey, sticky, fruity, tasty jams (and, if I may say so, we are actually pretty good at it.) As of yet, it is a very small business, but the fact that we finally did it, that is a giant step for us.

I have just begun documenting our "jamming" process and I would be honored if you clicked here and checked out our blog. We also have a Twitter account and are working on a Facebook page so more progress to come. As of today, we haven't sold a jar yet. Hell we haven't even seen the stickers and logos yet, but there's a plan and everything is going according to it. I am incredibly happy that we are doing this and look forward to seeing our little company grow. Wish me luck.
