A few weeks ago, I told you about my experience with painting my bedroom here and promised to show pictures of the entire room. It was meant to be an experiment with darker colours and I was unsure if I would end up liking it in the end. I couldn't be happier with the colour I chose and love the contrast of the bright white walls with the steel background. While I am itching to upgrade everything else, from the bedside tables to the lamps, the new wall will have to satisfy my craving for change for a little longer.

Thank you so much! These kind words are dangerously encouraging since I am thinking about repainting my kitchen at the moment--a bit of a bigger task to take on but I'm addicted to refreshing colour changes!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, I LOVE the dark wall color! It definitely made the room dramatic without making it look moody or depressing. I know a lot of people shy away from darker colors and shades in the bedroom because they think it will make it look gloomy. But when done right, it can be absolutely fantastic. This is a great example of how to do dark bedroom colors the right way.
