Little Black Book---Vancouver---MINT INTERIORS

I'm sure it sounds quite shallow, but after what feels like a month of rain, endless chores, studying and too many hours of work at a job that is slowly sucking the soul out of me, the only thing that can possibly brighten my day is a little home decor shopping. (At this time of year, it's really just browsing though.)

Wait, I take it back: I don't think it is superficial to enjoy a moment of peace and escape while admiring beautifully crafted objects that have potential for adoption. It's like looking at art! I would almost dare to compare my "browsing" experiences to walking through a museum, but I fear that this attitude might worsen an already fragile economy if contagious. No need to worry too much though, I do my part and succumb to temptation all too often.

What I am trying to say, if it isn't already obvious to you, is that... I found a new store! And it is conveniently located a mere 5 minute walk from my house!

It was just what I needed today: wallpaper, dinnerware, vases, furniture, throws, lamps and of course, Paper Cloud pillows. They even carried Caleb Siemon Lighting.

With many, many months of rain ahead of me, I am quite happy, maybe even relieved, to know that this store is a few minutes away (in case of an emergency... I just might need it).
