It was a sad day when Domino Magazine announced that it was publishing its last issue in the Winter of 2009, due to the decrease in advertising revenues. It took months before addicts of the magazine could get their fix but finally, the editors launched they first issue of Lonny and I have been looking forward to every single follow-up since then. Lonny picked up exactly where Domino had left off and consistently provides readers with accessible decorating ideas for the average person's budget (ok, maybe for the-average-person-who-spends-more-on-curtains-than-on-mutual-funds' budget). I love that every room photographed in this magazine is vibrant, fun and inspiring and so unique from one to the next. While Lonny is still very young and fresh, it simply feels like an extension of Domino to me and whether you are familiar with the original version or not, it's definitely worth checking out.
