It's finally over! After EIGHT years of part time and full time studies, my B.A. in Communications is (almost) over! I will never have to study for an exam again (except for this very small, easy exam next week but then that's it. Must not forget exam, must not forget exam...!) No more early morning classes and long bus rides to campus. I am a free woman... and it's kind of scary. What now? (If one more person asks me that, I am going to explode. People, listen up: I DON'T KNOW!!!) How am I celebrating this, you ask? I am reorganizing my kitchen! (To be fair, I also bought a pair of beeeeautiful high heels. And some tops, a few pairs of Summer pants and a gigantic hat!)
Lately, I keep thinking that I would make a fantastic assistant ; I am ridiculously organized and cherish my day planner like it is made of gold, I love answering phones, making lists (aaaaah! making lists is so fun!), and above all, I enjoy labeling. Is anyone looking for an assistant somewhere in Vancouver? Call me, I will even bake you fresh cookies daily...
For my first official day off, I am cleaning my kitchen, organizing the pantry and it feels like such a treat! Yes, you can laugh at me. Go ahead. But I can always find the cinnamon in my alphabetically labelled spice rack and nothing ever falls on my head when I open up my cabinets.
I actually received these lovely labels as a Christmas gift from my friend and have looked forward to this day for four months now! I am Or-Ga-Ni-Zed!! Now, how long will it last?
In case you are wondering, the goal is to one day have a whole ROOM filled with beautifully labelled jars, a walk-in pantry just like this one:
I know it makes my little jars look a bit sad and pathetic but this photo makes my stomach flip with envy. Is that normal? So my thing is kitchen jars... to each his own!
What does your kitchen pantry look like?
Yay! Congrats for your B.A. in Communications!
ReplyDeleteYour pantry is so well organized! I know someone in Montreal who is looking for a professional organizer. This person hoards a lot of stuff in her basement...
Thank you kindly! I will gladly take you up on your offer when I move to Montreal!
