My New Old Chair

Hello!

Allow me to introduce the most beautiful item in my living room: my new chair. Well, it's really an old chair with a new outfit but it makes my whole house look like it has gone through a major change and that it enough to make me happy. You might remember that a few months ago I was scratching my head and flipping through many booklets of fabric, trying to decide which one will be the lucky chosen material to be sent to Mirr's Interiors for a little makeover. If you don't, that's ok; it looked a little like this:

We got the fabric delivered in record time and our upholsterer was just as speedy. Now our living room looks just like this:

To be honest, I have had it in my living room now for almost two weeks so I have had the pleasure of sitting on it for hoooouuuurs and it's been great! I'm very pleased with the fabric I chose, the way it softens up and lightens up the living room and the gorgeous, geometric pattern makes it look a touch more contemporary. I think that the next purchase we will make will be finding a proper console table to put below that mirror. I have a few ideas already but for now, I will simply enjoy my chair just a little longer before I start cheating on it with a table. Well.............what do you think???? Do you like it?
